Petrčane is a tourist resort and a small seaport located in the Zadar Channel. Some 12 km northwest of Zadar, Petrčane bears a beautiful two-kilometer beach perfect for all water sports. This coastal village also features restaurants and taverns, as well as a general store, news stand and a post office.

Due to its perfect geographical location, Petrčane is an ideal starting point for excursions to the Zadar archipelago and visits to Kornati and Paklenica national parks.
