Sukošan is a tourist resort located 11 km southeast of Zadar with numerous bays and sand beaches ideal for a family vacation. Zlatna luka bay features the biggest marina on the Adriatic coast, Dalmacija.

Located in the bay, Sukošan bears beautiful sand beaches and traditional narrow streets with many promenades. Due to numerous taverns and restaurants, Sukošan is often referred to as the "City of Song and Wine".

People of Sukošan pay great attention to folk customs and organize an interesting program to honor their patron, St. Cassian (August 13). In the days of the carnival, streets are packed with masked people, most notable among them lužari, who are not to be found anywhere else but in Sukošan.
